Filipino Kids Encounter God Retreat
KIDS ENCOUNTER (FEB. 6-7, 2015) "But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus." (2 Timothy 3:14-15, ESV) San Fernando Christian Community recently held a Kids Encounter Retreat with great success. Of course, it was by God's grace, plus a lot of help from willing volunteers and workers that it was able to serve its purpose. The kids came out with a clear understanding of salvation. One child, when asked what his favorite part of the event was, confidently declared that he was so happy that Jesus already erased his sinful past. As these kids are growing up in the knowledge of Jesus, SFCC will always be in partnership with their parents to "train them in the ways they should go, so that when they grow old, they will not depart from it."
